I don't know what use this knife could possibly have in any kitchen. The good news is it won't cut your finger or hand if you get careless. The bad news is it won't cut anything. The knife itself is white with the Iron Chef logo that never so much looked like the lettering the band Iron Maiden uses for its logo as it does on this knife. On the flip side is a rather bold (C)Fuji TV. Which combine to make this knife look as cheap as it in fact is. Even a knife you would purchase at a typical dollar store will perform better than this knife. I'm thinking it might only be good for self defense. Keep it under your pillow (don't need to worry about stabbing yourself) and if a burglar comes in the middle of the night whip out this knife and the intruder might die laughing. Other uses: can't think of one.

I own three ceramic knives and love them so had high expectations for this one. It won't even cut a tomato without squashing it and I had to push extra hard to get it to cut through a green pepper. It does feel sturdy and I like the handle but I'm not sure what it's good for because it isn't for cutting.

The knife is not sharp at all. It will not cut into tomatoes with out just squishing them. Vegetables are difficult to cut due to bluntness of the blade. A useless knife and a real disappointment. It is also ridiculously priced considering the lack of sharpness. I'm returning ASAP.
