Love it and even though I live in Australia. I purchased a step down transformer and after buying both products ( blender and transformer) I still saved money buying it from Amazon.

Received this blender quickly and well packed. The lightweight jar is strong and easily cleaned with just a bit of soap and water and a sponge (nothing to take apart). The lid is flexible and easily removed. The powerful motor blends ice and frozen fruit drinks easily with excellent results (put in juice/water before blending). Besides four speeds, it has an ice chop button that I usually start with then switch to mix and puree.
The only con so far is that there is a motor smell when under load but it is not bad and the blender has worked with no problem in the month I have had it. KitchenAid has a no hassle replacement policy which gives some confidence if a problem does occur. For some reason the red is cheaper than other colors so I went for that, it looks good.

So I've bought a few of the $30-40 blenders and knew from day one they wouldn't last. Those other models' first blend was shaking, vibrating, and hesitating. And dropping oil out the bottom of the jar is not encouraging.
By contrast I've used this KitchenAid now for 4 months and it remains solid as a rock, crunching through ice without hesitation.
It is average noise, which means like any blender best to take a step back and not hurt your ears.
I love the sturdy plastic jar, which is much less heavy than glass.
Of course it will wear out, and then I'll choose another in this line!
