This is my fifth pressure cooker and purchased because I was tired of liquid vent evaporation and scorching difficulties. Both were resolved with the WMF Perfect Plus. You will not be disappointed with this pressure cooker. One word of caution: if you are used to the older style of pressure cooker, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, or better yet, spend a few minutes on U-Tube watching how this cooker works. Although I felt well-researched before my first cooking experience, I still managed to keep the heat too high after it came to pressure. Once the cooker raised to the second red ring, it requires almost no additional heat to keep it under pressure. My old cookers required a setting of 5/10 on the burner, the WMF required only 1/10. I purchased this item last year. At first I was extremely pleased, but after less than a year the TransTherm base separated from the pot. Since was still under manufacturer's warranty and I had always used it according to manufacturer's instructions, I contacted WMF America. I contacted them several times via email, but only got the run around. Finally I contacted them by phone, only to be told by the customer service rep that this rarely happens and when it does it is rarely covered by their warranty. However, if I wanted to ship it to them, they would be happy to look at it and then tell me they would not cover it. I contacted the CEO of the American division and never received any response at all. How disappointing. They clearly do not excel in customer service and do not stand behind their warranty.

My mom had a pressure cooker. I remember the little weight it had on top. This is my first pressure cooker. I was initially concerned about safety so after I bought this pressure cooker, I also purchased "Pressure cookers for dummies". I wanted to understand how this thing worked and how safe it was. that was two years ago, since I have used it fairly regularly. I greatly appreciated the quality and the rugged construction. It is heavy. It cleans up well and is easy to disassemble and assemble. The only thing I had to learn was that I was using too much heat. It clouded my chicken stock. I would recomend that when you first use this cooker that you use the recipes in the manual first. The instructions are detailed and geared to the pressure cooker.

After learning that premium "not from concentrate" orange juice is not just juice from the oranges but has added flavor enhancers, etc I decided to start juicing my own oranges. The Breville is an excellent juicer and I couldn't be more pleased. It works great, is easy to clean and looks as though it will last a lifetime. I also own a Breville K-Cup machine and the Breville Juice Fountain Elite and am very pleased with the line. They're certainly more expensive but the investment will pay for itself in the long run.

Although, the style of the Haworth Mug from HercuGlass is really why we purchased this 20 ounce mug (although we purchased this directly from www.hercuglass.com), WE just can't imagine that we'd ever need a mug larger than 20 ounces.

I have had these mugs for over 5 years and I am very happy with them. Over time several of them have broken or cracked and so I search high and wide for some replacements until I found them here. I use them for morning lattes and other hot drinks. I have put them in the dishwasher and microwave with no problems. The only tiny issue I have with them is that when they are put in the dishwasher upside down, some water does get to pool in the base of the glass with its shallow indentation so you need to wipe that out when unloading them from the dishwasher. These mugs are large and heavy and sturdy and weighs 20 oz and holds around 20 oz.

I registered for this pattern for my bridal registry back in 2001. It immediately caught my eye due to its classic, cream color which is perfect for all occasions. I finally had a chance to use my 8 placesettings of china today for Mother's Day brunch and what a beautiful table it was to behold!
Now I'm thinking of collecting Lenox Eternal White which is also quite elegant and is one of the newer collections they offer. Although I think most bone china patterns are too stark, the Eternal white is also quite beautiful.

For some reason the Amazon page doesn't give the actual height of the sides once its out of the box; it is about 2 7/8" if you want to know. I bought this to replace an All-Clad Petite Rosti pan. To me this is the better pan hands down.

Here's why. (1) This pan is actually clad, with stainless steel surrounding an interior aluminum core. The All-Clad pan does not have the aluminum center. So I expect this one to conduct heat better. (2) This pan is certainly is a lot lighter (I compared the weight before I gave the old one to Goodwill). I think its lighter because it has the aluminum core. (3) The bottom is pretty flat. The bottom of the All-Clad is kind of convex, which makes it harder to use over an electric burner or flat stovetop. And it is hard to make gravy in the All-Clad since the juices you're cooking down roll to the sides, but the flat bottom of this pan makes it a snap. (4) Both pans include a roasting rack, but this one does not have the two bars across the bottom that come on the All-Clad so it is much easier to clean. I have not seen a problem holding chickens in it even though the two bars are not present. (5) This pan is significantly less expensive, at least here on Amazon.

I had purchased this product to cook my first thanksgiving turkey. After reading product reviews and recommendations, I knew I wanted a Tri-Ply pan. However, I didn't need a 16-17" roaster for my small gathering (this pan measures about 14" in length). Sizing up the pan when I first got it out of the box, I knew that it would never be used for a giant 25 lb turkey, which was OK by me.

I have already cooked a "dry run" turkey to work out any problems before thanksgiving. Everything went off without a hitch. The nonstick v-rack, which comes with the roasting pan, did not stick to the bird when it was done cooking. I did take a ounce of precaution though, spraying with cooking spray before setting the bird in the rack. During cooking, the pan did not warp. Because of its smaller size, it was not overly cumbersome getting in and out of the oven. And cleanup was no arduous task, although I will probably invest in some bar keeper's friend to keep the roaster new-looking.

Bottom line, if you are looking for a quality roaster that is not unwieldy, this pan will perform for you.

I ordered this 14" roaster. Product dimensions 14.8" x 20". Imagine my surprise. The box it came in matches those dimensions. The roaster is only 12" x 14". Boy am I dumb!
It looks good quality for what it is, but I was expecting a lot more pan for my money.
